A little bit about me ...

Welcome to my page! My name is Robby Balistreri, and I am a software engineer experienced in building from scratch web applications using technologies including JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, MongoDB, Express, and Node.js.


After nearly three years working in software implementation, I decided to take the leap and learn the technical skills keeping me from becoming a fully fledged software engineer by attending App Academy's high-intensive 16-week bootcamp. There I spent 100+ hours a week sharpening my skills and learning the most popular languages and frameworks in modern web development.


In my free time I enjoy cooking, reading, and all things Wisconsin sports. I try to live by a motto of continuous learning, always looking for new challenges and areas of interest to discover. I am currently working on self-learning Python and can't wait to see what comes next.

Marksman

Marksman is a 2D shooter game with variable difficulty levels and a multiplayer option. Custom algorithms taking into account user input trajectory and power make for realistic flight path interaction.
